Senior Engineering Manager, AI

You will lead and mentor engineers, managers, and applied ML specialists to build and scale ML and AI infrastructure. You will guide model development and evaluation, productionize LLMs and advanced models, and ensure AI applications are performant, secure, and scalable. You will partner with product, design, and infrastructure to translate goals into technical milestones, establish engineering processes, and hire and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization of engineers, managers, and applied ML specialists
• Guide model development and evaluation to ensure performant and secure AI applications
• Oversee productionization of LLMs and advanced models for customer-facing products
• Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and infrastructure to align technical work with product needs
• Establish engineering processes to ensure reliable delivery, code quality, and system scalability
• Set clear goals, provide real-time feedback, and drive high performance
• Hire and retain top talent and address talent issues promptly and fairly

Requirements

• Proven engineering leadership experience managing engineers and managers and driving organizational development
• Hands-on experience in applied machine learning and productionizing applications that leverage LLMs and advanced models
• Deep understanding of ML infrastructure and platforms and complexities of deploying AI at enterprise scale
• Execution-focused mindset capable of translating business and product goals into technical milestones and strategy
