What you’ll do
As our Senior Engineering Technician - CAD, you’ll be asked to take on dynamic projects. We'll count on you to:
- Interpret complex construction plans and specifications
- Create drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D or Revit utilizing the 3D environment to assist with design
- Manage, support, teach, and mentor junior and/or entry-level CAD technicians in the office
- Manage CAD technicians on a project basis to complete multidiscipline project scope
- Prepare calculations, summary sheets, and assist with other reporting as requested
- Develop leadership skills that build autonomy
What it takes
- Associate Degree in Applied Science – CADD, Engineering or Construction Technology recommended
- 7-10 years of CADD experience required; AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit preferred
- Substantial knowledge and expertise with engineering design drawing creation required
- Field experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to speak and write well required
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required
