Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Epic Certified MyChart Analyst to support the design, build, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of Epic MyChart functionality. This role will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to improve patient engagement, streamline digital access, and ensure an exceptional end-user experience across patient-facing Epic applications.
Location & Work Environment:
This position is primarily remote, with approximately one onsite visit per quarter as needed for project or operational support. Candidates interested in relocating may be eligible for a relocation package. This role is currently structured as hourly with eligibility for overtime; however, it is expected to transition to a full-time salaried position in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and maintain Epic MyChart functionality and configurations
- Support implementation and enhancement of patient-facing features including messaging, scheduling, results release, and digital engagement tools
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
- Troubleshoot system issues and support break/fix resolution in MyChart workflows
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, privacy requirements, and change control processes
- Provide support for end-user workflows, training coordination, and adoption of patient portal tools
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience as an Epic Analyst, with a focus on MyChart or patient portal functionality
- Active Epic MyChart certification required
- Experience supporting Epic build, configuration, and optimization within MyChart or related Epic access applications
- Experience working in large healthcare environments and supporting enterprise-level patient engagement initiatives
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of patient engagement workflows and ambulatory/clinical integration points
- Ability to translate clinical and operational needs into intuitive patient-facing digital experiences
- Experience working in Agile or structured project environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Epic interoperability and cross-module workflows is a plus
