Senior Events Manager

The Senior Events Manager will support the planning and execution of external client and internal events for a financial services client. This role includes managing logistics, coordinating vendors, supporting stakeholders, and overseeing onsite execution to ensure each event aligns with business objectives and client engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review event proposals and provide recommendations on alignment with priorities, target audience, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venues, catering, AV, transportation, and event materials.
  • Manage registrations, guest lists, seating plans, and attendee communications.
  • Coordinate vendors and track deliverables, timelines, budgets, and invoices.
  • Support Relationship Managers and business stakeholders throughout the event planning process.
  • Provide onsite event management, including registration, setup, vendor oversight, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure event documentation, approvals, and post-event reporting are completed accurately.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of corporate event management experience, preferably within financial services, hospitality, luxury brands, or professional services.
  • Experience independently managing event logistics, reviewing event opportunities, coordinating vendors, and executing high-quality client experiences with minimal supervision.
  • Strong event planning, logistics, and project management experience.
  • Ability to assess event concepts and determine business relevance and feasibility.
  • Extremely strong organizational skills including attention to detail, handling multiple priorities, and managing tight timelines, along with communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event registration platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to solve problems and pivot quickly to meet deadlines when last minute changes arise.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $65-70/hr. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
