Senior Executive - Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and study tender documents, technical specifications, and tender drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review, analyze, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to project requirements.
- Calculate and estimate project costs in line with the scope of work, specifications, and budget constraints.
- Prepare, compile, and submit tenders in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to clarify tender requirements.
- Ensure tender documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with company and client standards.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation, preferably in the construction/engineering industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant tendering/estimation software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
