Senior Executive, Support Specialist (Broadcast)
Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is one of the top communication schools in the world, ranked 2nd in the 2026 QS World University Rankings for Communication & Media Studies. We are seeking a Senior Executive to join the Technology team to support the School’s IT and AV environment within NTU’s structured IT operating model.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a well-equipped learning environment, gaining hands-on experience in IT and AV operations while building familiarity with structured IT systems, processes, and platforms within a large enterprise environment.
The role offers exposure to both day-to-day operational support and the implementation of centrally managed IT systems and improvements at the school level.
Key Responsibilities
Support TV studio and production-related activities, including events and academic coursework.
Provide IT and AV support to staff and faculty, including live streaming and end-user assistance.
Assist with equipment handling and post-production demonstrations during classes and outreach events.
Maintain IT and AV equipment, post-production laboratories, and storage systems, including software updates and licence management.
Support procurement, asset management, including disposal and write-off, and documentation in line with institutional guidelines.
Monitor system performance and escalate issues or improvement opportunities where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with NTU policies, governance requirements, and support system rollouts and deployments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of working experience in IT operations and/or video production, studio environments, or post production houses.
Working knowledge of broadcast systems and equipment, including cameras, lighting systems, vision mixers, audio mixers, playout servers, intercom systems, recording equipment, and livestreaming tools used for live production.
Familiarity with post-production software, workflows and processes.
Proficient in Mac OS and Windows operating system.
Basic awareness of IT systems, platforms, and infrastructure used in managed environments.
Able to operate professional cameras to support production, recording, and livestreaming activities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
Self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, and willing to share knowledge and learn new skillsets as needed.
