FPAs assist multiple project managers (PM) and staff to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and HDR policies and procedures. The main focus of the FPA is to assist the PM with the non-technical management of a project, emphasizing project financial health. This includes, but is not limited to, client invoicing, collections management, project review(s), ensuring accurate contract documentation, contract monitoring and maintenance including budget and funding entry and contract administration during various stages of a project contract life cycle.%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22pf0%22%3E%3Cspan class=%22cf0%22%3E#LI-JG9%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cbr%3EIn the role of Senior Federal Project Accountant, we%27ll count on you to%5C:%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EEnter project budget and funding information into the accounting system based on contract documents and PM input%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EGenerate accurate invoices in compliance with contract terms%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAttend 0% project reviews, project kick-off and team meetings as necessary%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain and monitor contract compliance%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor weekly and monthly project expenditures%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with procurement responsibilities as necessary; including, purchase requisitions, subconsultant agreements, and%3Cbr%3Ework confirmations%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure timely release of subconsultant invoices for payment%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAnalyze %26amp; notify PM of outstanding accounts receivable (AR) and document AR status%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform research and provide necessary data for PM, Area Manager/Managing Principal and others regarding project financial status (including funding/budget and AR)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage forecasting, funding and budget updates as a result of work/scope changes and contract amendments%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain project accounting files in accordance with company policy%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERequest and assist PM in entering Estimates-to-Complete (ETC) %26amp; Physical Percent Complete (PPC) %26amp; schedule updates to monitor project progress%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EConfirm final billing is complete (client and subconsultants), re-budget project (if necessary) and prepare project(s) for closeout%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform various specialized accounting functions of moderate complexity and ensure that procedures and practices are followed in accordance with company policy, accounting principles and contractual obligations%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as needed%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EPreferred Qualifications%5C:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EDegree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPrevious employment with an engineering firm is highly desirable%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E
