Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Senior Finance and Accounting Analyst will work together with the Vietnam Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the Vietnam business by managing the day-to-day finance & accounting operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially-focused Budget and Forecast, in line with agreed templates and timetables
  2. Identify and timely report risks and opportunities for the business and cost management
  3. Update commentary highlights concisely, anticipating potential questions and address them in advance with supporting analysis as appropriate
  4. Provide Business Partner support to event team
  5. Monthly P&L actual review and working with SSC for month end. This will include:
  • Ensure revenue and costs are recorded correctly, and intercompany billings are performed
  • Accruals are made in accordance to Group guidelines and timely release of accruals, if any.
  1. Build necessary financial / management reports from appropriate systems for review and analysis purpose.
  2. Intercompany review incl. agreements, invoicing, resolving mismatches and cash settlements
  3. Perform VAT invoice publish for VN office as per local requirements.
  4. Handle local statutory compliance matters such as audit, taxation.
  5. Ad hoc queries / requests from various stakeholders.
  1. 5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience in an MNC environment preferred
  2. English: Strong fluency in both verbal communication and writing
  3. Well versed in ERP and CRM systems
  4. Accountable and willing to accept responsibilities.
  5. Well-organized and good prioritization
  6. Growth mindset and ability to adapt to a changing environment. Passion to learn and grow
  7. Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and results oriented.
  8. Comfort dealing with Business partner/ colleagues.
