Senior Finance Coordinator - Michigan site

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Coordinator (part time). The SFC manages all of the day-to-day financial aspects of business and works closely with the GM and to drive the sites’ financial planning and compliance matters. The SFC also represents the conduit between Corporate Finance and Local Operations, ensuring all financial matters are addressed timely and efficiently. The SFC is a reliable professional with broad knowledge of several accounting functions, including, but not exclusively, Tax, Transfer-Pricing and Treasury. They are strategic thinkers, who are disciplined and structured in their approach and can make the most appropriate decisions for the well-being of the business. This position is hybrid.

Responsibilities:
  • Retain constant awareness of the site’s financial position and act proactively to prevent financial issues.
  • Manage all intercompany and transfer pricing issues for the site and liaison with Corporate Treasury as necessary to ensure funds are adequately available.
  • Work with Corporate Tax and Shared Service Teams on a regular basis to ensure tax compliance
  • Manage and monitor relationships with Operations, Shared Service Teams and other internal functions to establish alignment and accountability.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to leadership teams as required in order to help with the overall financial performance of site inc. P/L, Cost Control Support business setup process with customers and suppliers inc. global transactions
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
  • Maintain Corporate Credit Card compliance, and provide reports as necessary on expenditures
Requirements:
Education/Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountant, Business Administrator or related field

  • Experience in a Automotive Tier1 and/or Global Manufacturing and/or a plus
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
  • CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus (but not required).
  • Advance knowledge and understanding in Microsoft Excel
The expected pay rate for this position is $50 - $60/hour depending on specific skills and work experience, with the expected working hours between 25 - 30 hours per week.
