Your responsibilities:
Own, maintain, and continuously improve the VELUX global mobility policy framework, including policies for expatriate assignments, international transfers, cross-border commuters, and short-term assignments.
Design and strengthen mobility processes end-to-end, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities are defined and implemented across all stakeholders
Assess and advise on mobility cases, recommending the appropriate assignment setup and supporting business case development, including cost projections and risk assessments.
Manage the full mobility lifecycle — from case initiation, addendum preparation, and relocation coordination through to assignment completion and repatriation.
Ensure tax compliance for all cross-border mobility arrangements, including shadow payroll, tax equalisation, and reporting obligations.
Ensure compliance with EU regulations, including the Posted Workers Directive and A1 certificate applications.
Collaborate closely with P&O Services and Payroll Operations on the design, development, and execution of administrative tasks connected to mobility.
Manage relationships with external mobility partners and vendors (e.g., tax advisors, immigration providers, relocation agencies), ensuring service quality, cost control, and contractual compliance.
Our requirements:
Several years of experience in global mobility, international tax advisory, or a related field within a multinational environment or consulting firm.
Deep understanding of international tax principles, including cross-border taxation, social security regulations (A1 certificates), and tax equalisation concepts.
Working knowledge of EU regulations relevant to mobility, including the Posted Workers Directive and emerging pay transparency requirements.
Experience managing external vendors and advisory relationships.
Strong advisory skills in order to assess complex situations, provide clear guidance, and confidently challenge business stakeholders when needed.
