Senior Global Network Design & Automation Engineer
VAM Systems is currently looking for Senior Global Network Design & Automation Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Required Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise network engineering and architecture experience.
- Proven experience deploying and delivering large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, SD-Access, Catalyst Center, ISE and Enterprise Wireless.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center automation, assurance, and API integrations.
- Experience supporting multinational organizations with geographically distributed offices.
Automation & Development Skills
Strong experience with:
- Python scripting for network automation
- Terraform or similar automation tools
- REST APIs integration and automation
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
Cisco Enterprise Technologies
Serve as the design authority for:
- Cisco ACI (Data Center Fabric Automation)
- Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) Campus Automation & Assurance
- Cisco SD-Access Policy Based Campus Fabric
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco Enterprise Wireless Solutions (WLC)
- Cisco Nexus Data Center Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
Network Automation & Platform Engineering
- Lead automation, design and optimization of enterprise network platforms including Cisco Catalyst Center, ACI, SD-Access, ISE and Wireless.
- Design and implement end-to-end automation workflows for provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, and lifecycle operations.
- Develop API-driven integrations between Cisco platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Orion etc.).
- Automate Cisco Catalyst Center workflows include device onboarding, configuration deployment, assurance, and reporting.
- Automate identity and policy workflows using Cisco ISE APIs (authentication, authorization, segmentation, profiling).
- Enable policy-driven automation for Cisco SD-Access fabric provisioning and segmentation.
- Automate ACI operations include EPG/BD/Contract provisioning, policy deployment, and configuration validation.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), NetDevOps practices, and automated network lifecycle management.
- Utilize APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Reduce manual operations through standardization, orchestration, and self-service capabilities.
