Senior Group & Regulatory Reporting Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Group & Regulatory Reporting Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of the complex preparation and consolidation of financial reports for the RHBIB Entity and Group, ensuring integrity and alignment with Group objectives. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of financial reporting across Group Financial Reports, Monthly Financial Reports, and Business/Functional Pillar Reporting.

What you will be doing

  • Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Take ownership of complex preparation and consolidation of financial reports for RHBIB Entity and Group, ensuring integrity and alignment with Group objectives.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee regulatory reporting preparation for submission to regulators (BNM, Bursa, SC), ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for regulator and auditor queries, representing Finance in discussions to safeguard reporting integrity.

  • External Audit Management: Drive the process for the appointment of external auditors, including the review and negotiation of audit fees.

  • Regulatory Implementation: Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and BNM regulations across all reporting processes.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Direct initiatives requiring RHBIB Entity and Group financial information, such as structured warrants prospectuses and insurance renewals.

  • Subsidiary Oversight: Ensure financial reporting requirements for all subsidiaries are accurate and aligned with Group standards.

  • Leadership: Delegate and monitor ad-hoc assignments to ensure all departmental objectives are achieved efficiently.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory environments within the banking or financial services sector.

  • Deep understanding of BNM, Bursa, and SC regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external auditors and regulators.

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and financial integrity.

  • Excellent leadership and delegation capabilities, with the ability to manage complex departmental objectives.
