What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and translating business needs into functional and technical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technology specialists, you will gather and document requirements, facilitate workshops, conduct business process analysis, develop functional specifications, support solution design, and ensure successful delivery of technology and data-driven initiatives.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. You will work across a range of industries and organisations, including large corporations, government agencies, and professional services environments, supporting digital transformation, data analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise technology projects.
Essential skills/experience required:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an ICT Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within technology, data, analytics, or digital transformation environments.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting, analysing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and business process analysis.
- Strong experience preparing business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Experience supporting the delivery of enterprise technology, data, business intelligence, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business challenges and recommend practical technology-based solutions.
- Experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), requirements traceability, solution validation, and change management activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality documentation and presentations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business processes, challenges, and requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering activities through workshops, interviews, observations, and stakeholder consultations.
- Analyse and document business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
- Prepare and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into solution designs.
- Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to support project planning, risk management, and successful project delivery.
- Provide change management support, including stakeholder engagement, training, and transition activities.
