We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, virtualization platforms, enterprise backup solutions, network security, and database administration. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, security, performance, and scalability of all infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Server & Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.

• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
  <\/li>
• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability.
  <\/li>
• Perform patch management and system upgrades.
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Virtualization
  <\/h3>

  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere / ESXi environments.
    <\/li>
  • Create and manage virtual machines and resource allocation.
    <\/li>
  • Optimize virtualization infrastructure performance and capacity.
    <\/li>
  • Perform VM migration, replication, and disaster recovery operations.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Backup & Disaster Recovery
    <\/h3>

    • Manage enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Acronis, or similar platforms.
      <\/li>
    • Implement backup policies and retention strategies.
      <\/li>
    • Conduct regular backup verification and disaster recovery testing.
      <\/li>
    • Ensure business continuity and data protection compliance.

      Network & Security
      <\/h3>

      • Configure and manage FortiGate and Sophos firewalls.
        <\/li>
      • Implement VPN connectivity (Site\-to\-Site & Remote Access).
        <\/li>
      • Monitor security events and respond to incidents.
        <\/li>
      • Manage network segmentation, VLANs, and access control policies.
        <\/li>
      • Perform firewall policy reviews and security hardening.

        Microsoft Services
        <\/h3>

        • Manage Microsoft Active Directory environment.
          <\/li>
        • Troubleshoot authentication, permissions, and access\-related issues.
          <\/li>
        • Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and security configurations.

          Database Administration

          • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server.

          • Monitor database performance and optimize queries when required.
            <\/li>
          • Perform database backup, restoration, and maintenance activities.

          • Support application teams in database\-related troubleshooting.

            Storage & Infrastructure

            • Manage NAS and shared storage environments.

            • Configure and maintain storage permissions and quotas.

            • Monitor storage utilization and capacity planning.

              Monitoring & Documentation

              • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.

              • Analyze infrastructure alerts and performance metrics.

                  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

                  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Administration.
