Senior IT Asset Management Specialist

Nexaminds is actively seeking a Senior IT Asset Management Specialist. He/She will play a key role in managing IT asset lifecycle operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, check-in/check-out processes, and data integrity across enterprise IT assets that support business operations.

Location: Orange, CA (On -Site)

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Inventory, or IT Operations roles
• Strong experience managing IT asset lifecycle processes (procurement, deployment, tracking, recovery, disposal)
• Hands-on experience with check-in/check-out processes for IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals)
• Strong expertise in inventory audits, reconciliation, and asset tracking accuracy
• Experience working with ITAM tools such as ServiceNow Asset Management, Jira Assets, Snipe-IT, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical skills with experience generating reports, KPIs, and inventory metrics
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve asset discrepancies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced operational environments
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple inventory requests, audits, and escalations concurrently
• Experience communicating operational and technical inventory issues to stakeholders at different levels

Job duties:

• Manage IT asset lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate tracking from procurement to disposal across the organization
• Oversee check-in/check-out operations for IT equipment, ensuring proper assignment and recovery of devices
• Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation between physical assets and system records
• Investigate and resolve asset discrepancies, missing equipment, and inventory inconsistencies
• Maintain and administer IT asset management systems ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Generate reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to inventory accuracy, asset utilization, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Service Desk, IT Operations, Procurement, and Security teams to support asset governance processes
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring timely allocation and recovery of IT assets
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
• Ensure all asset management activities comply with internal policies, audits, and compliance standards
• Communicate inventory status, risks, and findings clearly to management and stakeholders
