About the Role:
We are seeking an expert IT Solution Architect to join a highly motivated, multi-cultural team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level business vision and robust, scalable technical execution, driving the domain roadmap and championing the adoption of emerging technologies like AI.

Key Responsibilities:

As a core technical leader in early product phases, your day-to-day will involve:

  • Architecture & Design: Drive, specify, and align architectural solutions. Produce comprehensive design artifacts, including high-level and detailed design documents, database schemas, and system workflows.

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all technical solutions integrate seamlessly into the long-term strategic development plan. Securely incorporate DevSecOps and modern security practices into every proposed architecture.

  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Enterprise Architects. Lead cross-functional architecture teams and communicate complex technical layouts clearly to developers.

  • Innovation & Roadmap Ownership: Jointly own the domain vision and roadmap alongside Product Owners. Actively and proactively drive the adoption of AI and emerging technologies within the connectivity domain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years spent explicitly in a Solution Architect (or equivalent) role.

  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills acting as a Lead Architect for cross-functional teams.

  • Methodologies: Hands-on experience working within Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps frameworks.

  • Domain Expertise: Specialized background in Telematics and Connectivity technologies, alongside deep knowledge of computer networks.

  • Architecture & Performance: Deep expertise in Microservices architecture, designing high-load applications, and performance optimization.

  • Tech Stack Knowledge:

    • Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, JMS

    • Environments: Linux

    • Databases: Relational and NoSQL databases

    • Cloud: AWS and/or Azure, with a strong focus on Serverless technologies.

  • Languages: Proficient/Fluent English.
