Take responsibility\nand accountability for the development and execution of commercial sourcing\nsolutions aimed at realising significant value for the business whilst reducing\nrisk and enabling business, service, and supplier strategies.<\/span><\/span>

Specialist area: Information\nand Digital Technology including software, hardware, services, and support and\nmaintenance.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

Responsible for more\ncomplex IT requirements with H risk rating, various stakeholders, integration\nrequirements, high spend, business critical services and systems with cyber\nsecurity and data privacy exposure /risk. Managing and influencing multiple\ninternal and external stakeholders per project.<\/span><\/span>

Working with other\nSourcing Specialists on projects where BU requirements include technology\ncomponents.<\/span><\/span>

  • Delivery of all\ncommercial and contractual elements of sourcing initiatives up to contract\naward ensuring all financial, risk, strategic and commercial considerations are\noptimised.<\/span><\/span>

  • Own, manage and\nfacilitate the sourcing process from requirement identification to handover of\ncontract to Business upon contract completion.<\/span><\/span>

  • Chair and manage\nCross Functional Sourcing Teams (CFST) during supplier selection and\ncontracting processes.<\/span><\/span>

  • Act as a Subject\nMatter Expert throughout the source to contract cycle.<\/span><\/span>

    Ownership and responsibility for the\nSource \-to\- Contract Life Cycle including:<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • Procurement Planning/ forecasting of\nsourcing requirements for allocated BUs,<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Facilitate the development of the\nRFP Terms of Reference (Scope of Work,)<\/span><\/span>

    • Conduct Market analysis and\nbenchmarking (including pricing),<\/span><\/span>

    • Lead and facilitate Cross functional\nsourcing teams throughout the Source \- to\-Contract lifecycle,<\/span><\/span>

    • Manage inputs and deliverables\nrequired from internal stakeholders and suppliers,<\/span><\/span>

    • Lead, development and execution of\nSourcing Strategies for all assigned initiatives, which invoke a high degree of\nstrategic and/or business risk and value. This would include reviewing of\ndifferent commercial models/options, ensuring alignment with Business and\ncategory strategies,<\/span><\/span>

    • Determining evaluation criteria and\nweightings,<\/span><\/span>

    • RFx compilation and publishing,<\/span><\/span>

    • Responsible to collect & save all\ndocuments during the RFx process and ensure safekeeping and destruction as per\nthe Records Management & Retention & Destruction Standard (POPIA).<\/span><\/span>

    • Manage and register deviations and\nfacilitate Motivation for Deviation process and COE approval.<\/span><\/span>

    • Ensure compliance with Third Party\nRisk Management, Sourcing and Supplier Management Policies, Standards and\nguidelines.<\/span><\/span>

    • Responsible for the incorporation of\nBBBEE strategies and ensure the requirements of the Supplier Diversity Standard\nare incorporated throughout the Source \-to\-Contract lifecycle.<\/span><\/span>

    • Negotiate BBBEE Transformation Plans\nfor suppliers not meeting the minimum BBBEE Level. Incorporate the\nTransformation Plan to the contract.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Liaise with Absa/Woolworths Sourcing\nteams to maximize synergies and realize economies of scale.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Effectively manage supply side\ndependencies and interactions up to executive level throughout the sourcing\nlife cycle internally with clients and colleagues and externally with\nsuppliers.<\/span><\/span>

    • Responsible for specified\npost contract supplier management activities and participation in annual\ncontract reviews as per the relevant Policy & Standard. Escalate high risk\nand contentious issues to the Sourcing Manager for resolution.<\/span><\/span>

      • Engage with Supplier Risk Screening\nspecialist to ensure Due diligence and screening requirements (as per the\nrelevant Standards) are completed after short listing but before contract\nsigning.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Assist the screening specialist to\naddress issues experienced with suppliers during the due diligence process if\nnecessary.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Responsible to facilitate\nsegmentation (IRA) to determine Inherent Risks associated with the service,\nrisk rating of the service and the requirement for inputs/ approval from SME\u2019s\n(Legal, Finance, Tax, Infosec and Regulatory)<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • From the Inherent Risk assessment\nidentifying relevant Supplier Control Obligations to be incorporated to the\nSupplier contract.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Identify, document (risk register)\nand resolve risks during the sourcing process. Include unresolved risks to contract\nhandover document deck. Ensure governance and regulatory requirements and approvals\nare met before contract signing. This includes Cloud Committee approvals and\nBudget/Business case/Value Case approvals.<\/span><\/span>

      • Ensure sourcing is in line with\norganisational and external governance, (i.e. Internal Audit, FAIS, FICA, BEE\nrating and compliance adherence).<\/span><\/span>

      • Ensure a sound risk framework is\nadhered to in terms of all new and existing sourcing projects and contracts,\ni.e. that it is in alignment with WFS and ABSA policies and legislative\ngovernances.<\/span><\/span>

      • Responsible for\nimplementation of revised and new Policies & Standards.<\/span><\/span>

        Contracting<\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/div>
        • Delivery of all commercial and\ncontractual elements of major sourcing initiatives up to contract award\nensuring all financial, strategic and commercial considerations are optimised\nand potential risks are identified and documented.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Facilitate compilation and agreement\nbetween Business and Supplier of Service Level Agreements (SLA\u2019s) to be\nincluded to the supplier contract.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Responsible for contract\nnegotiations (including commercial), contract compilation, resolving contract\nmark\-ups and review of contract mark\-ups and engagement with Legal, Risk and\nother stakeholders where applicable. Responsible for contract finalisation. This\napplies to l Variation Agreements, Renewals and new requirements.<\/span><\/span>

        • Include relevant SCOs to supplier\ncontracts and address and resolve supplier mark\-ups to the SCO\u2019s. Engage with\nSME\u2019s for resolving SCO mark\-ups.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Perform Supplier Annual Attestation\nof relevant SCO\u2019s before contract approval & signing<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Obtain Business risk acceptance for\naccepted deviations from material contract clauses.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Facilitate the compilation and\nsigning of the Legal Risk Report (LRR) if applicable.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Obtain contract approvals as per the\nWFS Board authority levels and assist with the compilation of Board resolutions\nwhere required.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Facilitate compiling, socialising\nand submission of Board Memorandums for projects where a Board resolution is\nrequired. Ensure the Board resolution is signed before contract finalisation.<\/span><\/span>

        • Compile a Contract Obligation Tracker\nand hand\-over to the supplier manager in the BU during contract handover. This\nincludes SCO actions, transformations plans and key contract obligations of WFS\nand the supplier.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Responsible for effective handover\nall appropriate documentation to the appointed BU Supplier Manager after the\ncompletion of the Sourcing process. Ensure Contract Handover document is\napproved by Executive.<\/span><\/span>

        • Responsible for contract renewals,\nVariation Agreements and compiling new FoO\u2019s.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Maintaining Contract Register and\naction contracts nearing expiry dates.<\/span><\/span>

        • Send contract updates to allocated\nBU\u2019s monthly and manage potential contract breaches.<\/span><\/span>

        • Escalate delays in contract renewals\nto the relevant Executive as per the contract expiry matrix.<\/span><\/span>
