PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE

  • Acts as the Landscape Package Manager for a large-scale urban development project.
  • Manages and reviews landscape design consultants rather than doing full design work.
  • Ensures designs are high-quality, complete, on time, and compliant with regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Management

  • Lead and coordinate landscape design activities.
  • Work with international and local consultants to ensure a consistent design.
  • Coordinate with civil, drainage, roads, utilities, and architectural teams.
  • Support design decisions and value engineering.

Design Review (Quality)

  • Review designs from concept to construction stages.
  • Check planting, materials, irrigation, drainage, and durability.
  • Ensure suitability for tropical and coastal conditions.
  • Provide and track resolution of comments.

Schedule Monitoring

  • Track design progress against timelines.
  • Identify delays and recommend solutions.
  • Review consultants’ progress reports.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine laws and standards.
  • Confirm designs are signed by licensed Landscape Architects.
  • Support regulatory approvals and permits.

Deliverables Control

  • Ensure drawings and documents are complete and coordinated.
  • Maintain submission tracking and document control.

Reporting & Support

  • Report status (quality, schedule, risks) to the Project Manager.
  • Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders.
  • Support construction-phase reviews when required.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Licensed Landscape Architect (PRC) or holder of a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture. A Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field will be an advantage.
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in large-scale mixed-use or waterfront projects.
  • Experience managing design consultants.
  • Knowledge of Philippine codes and standards.
  • Understanding of planting, drainage, hardscape, and public realm design.
  • Ability to review drawings and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Strong design judgment and attention to quality.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Organized and proactive mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Willing to accept Project-base status
