SENIOR LAWYER (F/M/D)
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal team of the Ignitis Group shared service center, where you’ll be responsible for providing legal support in complex financial and M&A transactions, ensuring smooth execution, risk management, and close collaboration with key business stakeholders. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Participating in and providing legal support in financing projects (e.g., project financing, syndicated loans, corporate finance, capital market transactions)
- Participating in and providing legal support in M&A projects (e.g. buy/ sell side, partnerships)
- Leading due diligence reviews, participating in negotiations, providing support throughout the whole transaction, managing post-closing legal matters
- Drafting / reviewing of contractual documentation, managing legal questions and risks
- Managing external advisors and ensuring efficient legal project organization
- Collaborating closely with the finance teams (treasury and investment teams), project teams, other internal stakeholders
- Providing other legal support on other finance and M&A legal complex and day-to-day matters
- University degree in law (master’s degree or higher)
- 5+ years of legal work experience
- 2+ years of experience in finance or M&A transactions
- Great legal drafting skills
- The ability to deal with complex legal issues, reconcile different expectations and have good negotiation and coordination skills
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to legal challenges, taking ownership of your workstreams and driving matters forward with a high degree of independence
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian
Would be an advantage:
- Experience in working on international financing or M&A projects
