Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>

As a <\/span><\/span>QA Engineer \u2013 Automation<\/span><\/span><\/b>, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans, estimating effort, and effectively prioritising multiple projects. You will ensure that quality issues and defects are accurately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved on time.<\/span>

You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, define scope, and estimate effort. You will also contribute to defining quality strategies and technical test designs to ensure reliable and high\-quality releases, while mentoring and supporting team members across projects.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
  • Lead the manual QA strategy for backend APIs, trading systems, and web/mobile interfaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Create, execute, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well\-structured test cases.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Drive API testing efforts using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and work closely with developers for resolution.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform regression, integration, sanity, smoke, and UAT testing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Validate real\-time data scenarios, trading flows, risk checks, and transactional integrity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Ensure high\-quality releases through solid documentation and sign\-off processes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Mentor and guide junior QA members in best practices and structured testing approaches.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span>Required Skills & Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • 8+ years of overall experience in software QA, with strong manual testing expertise.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Minimum 3+ years of hands\-on API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect life cycles.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in complex transactional systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Familiarity with financial markets, stock trading, equity, mutual funds, or similar domains.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast\-paced, in\-office environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience testing trading systems, order management, portfolio analysis, or similar fintech products.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Exposure to NSE/BSE, IPOs, derivatives, or margin trading workflows.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Mush have knowledge in stock market\u2014either as a trader or a market enthusiast.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
