Senior Legal Counsel (Data Centers & IT Infrastructure)

Yandex is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support local legal matters and global IT infrastructure and data center projects. Apply if you have 6–8 years of legal experience in IT or infrastructure and strong English.Legal support for local operations
You will act as a legal advisor on local HR/labor law matters, corporate issues, and contracts. Contract drafting and negotiation
You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of routine and complex agreements relating to IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, and data. Regulatory and compliance advisory
You will advise on legal risks and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Internal legal guidance
You will explain legal concepts clearly to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.* Hold a law degree (LL.B. or higher) from a university in Serbia * Have 6–8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within the IT/technology sector, telecommunications, infrastructure, data center operators, cloud providers, or colocation environments * Have excellent drafting and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) * Have strong problem-solving skills and a "think outside the box" mindset * Demonstrate a high level of ownership and accountabilityHave demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating: * Data center service agreements (colocation, hosting, managed services) * Master service agreements (MSAs) and complex commercial contracts * Service level agreements (SLAs), including uptime, latency, and service credit frameworks
