- Design, develop, and maintain Linux Display drivers based on the DRM/KMS framework.
- Own display enablement across modesetting, platform bring-up, stability, and regression handling.
- Develop and debug DisplayPort and eDP features, including link training, MST/SST, DSC, and compliance scenarios.
- Support display pipelines across HDMI, MIPI DSI, panels, overlays, and hardware display blocks.
- Collaborate with Mesa, Wayland, and X11 teams to enable end-to-end graphics and display functionality.
- Perform deep system-level debugging and root cause analysis across kernel, hardware, firmware, and graphics software layers.
- Drive technical issues to closure across development, validation, and product delivery cycles.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage priorities, improve execution, and deliver on program goals.
- Contribute to production-quality display software with a focus on performance, stability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Demonstrated experience in Linux system software and display driver development.
- Strong expertise in DRM/KMS and Linux kernel internals, including DMA, interrupts, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging display interfaces such as DisplayPort, eDP, HDMI, and MIPI DSI.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and kernel-level debugging.
- Experience delivering production-quality code for complex hardware and software platforms.
- Familiarity with Mesa, Wayland, X11, and end-to-end Linux graphics enablement.
- Knowledge of display pipelines, modesetting, link training, display compliance, and regression analysis.
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and debug complex system-level issues.
- Strong communication, ownership, prioritization, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered where applicable.
