Senior Maintenance Technician

The incumbent will provide assistance to the Maintenance Manager to support the smooth operations of the department. Responsibilities include but not restricted to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment for both mechanical and electrical works

  • Perform equipment failure check, troubleshoot and repair

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedule

  • Review daily maintenance work schedule, assign and coach workers to ensure timely task completion

  • Coordinate and execute works including :

- fabrication (bracket, stand, conveyor etc);

- maintenance and repair (lifting mechanism, pneumatic actuator, servo moto, pump, solenoid valve alarm panel, piping, fan, gear, packaging machine, inkjet printer)

  • Update and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure components are readily available

  • Maintain housekeeping in work areas

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years hands-on relevant experience in a construction and/or manufacturing industry

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent

  • Experience in PLC installation and electrical works

  • Able to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical wiring design and schematic drawings

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills independently
