In this role, you will identify and pursue consulting opportunities, design innovative interventions, and contribute to the development of high\-quality proposals and project deliverables. You will also support project execution through research, stakeholder consultations, and collaboration with cross\-domain teams in financial inclusion, gender, health, and nutrition, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identifying potential\nconsulting opportunities, understanding key areas of deliverables, writing\nproposals, developing concept notes, pitch decks, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Build relationships with\nexisting and potential clients in the agriculture domain, such as various\ndirectorates and departments of the central and state governments, other\nstate\-level/central\-level agencies, private sector players/ service providers\nin the agriculture and food processing, fintech, startups, and government think\ntanks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Take initiatives to develop\nclient relationships to build a pipeline of projects in the agriculture sector<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and submit\nproposals to generate business for the domain<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Represent MSC at\nconferences, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in assignment\nset\-up and de\-briefing meetings of assignments in the agriculture domain,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead teams of 3 to 4\nmembers in assignments under supervision, which will include field visits,\nstakeholders\u2019 interaction, and regular engagement with the client<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead and contribute to the\nprocess of report writing and data analysis,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Execute assignments with the\nutmost diligence, attention to detail and focus on quality,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in the review of\ntraining courses delivered, research papers prepared, curriculum developed and\ntechnical assistance provided to clients of the P&D domain,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

●<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in organizing state/national\-level\nevents and workshops for MSC, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Academic/ professional\nqualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Master's\nlevel degree (or higher) in Agriculture/Agri\-Business/Economics/Sociology or\nrelated fields from a reputed institute<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Other\nrelevant professional qualifications in line with areas of specialization<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong\nknowledge of the agriculture sector and the socio\-economic development issues<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • At least\n10\-15 years\u2019 experience in agriculture and allied sector consulting, research,\nor other relevant areas<\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in the implementation of government/\nrelated projects in the fields of agriculture, understanding of policy and\nprogram assessment,<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in managing relationships with\nvarious stakeholders, including donor agencies, ministries, state government,\nprivate sector players, and think\-tanks, is preferred.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in policy design, implementation\nsupport, monitoring, and evaluation of the government initiatives is preferred.<\/span>
