Senior Manager, Consumer & Industrial Products

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Consumer & Industrial Products (C&IP) Team within our M&A practice. This role is designed for a seasoned consulting leader with deep program leadership expertise, strong business development capabilities, and a technology-enabled transformation mindset.

The Senior Manager will lead large, complex transformation programs and portfolios, serve as a trusted advisor to executive clients, and play a key role in growing West Monroe's operations and supply chain transformation capabilities. This individual will be responsible for driving client outcomes, developing teams, and contributing to practice growth through solution development and market-facing activities.

Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Delivery (Primary Focus)

  • Serve as the executive delivery lead for complex, multi-workstream transformation programs and strategic initiatives
  • Lead enterprise PMO functions across large-scale engagements, including:
    • Program governance and executive steering committees
    • Integrated planning and dependency management
    • Risk, issue, and decision management
    • Executive communications and reporting
    • Benefits realization and value tracking
  • Oversee multiple engagement teams and workstreams, ensuring alignment across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Director, VP, and C-suite executives
  • Lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including operating model, process, and systems changes
  • Drive supply chain and operational transformation initiatives spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, and distribution
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps and measurable business outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to quality, risk management, and delivery excellence standards
  • Act as the escalation point for complex client challenges and critical program decisions

Business Development

  • Lead pursuit teams and contribute to revenue growth through new and expanded client relationships
  • Develop and present proposals, statements of work, and transformation roadmaps
  • Identify opportunities within existing client accounts and expand West Monroe's footprint through trusted advisor relationships
  • Shape and sell large-scale transformation programs, PMO engagements, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Support account planning and strategic relationship development within key Consumer & Industrial Products clients
  • Contribute thought leadership and market insights to support practice growth and brand awareness

Practice Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Managers, Consultants, and Senior Consultants
  • Serve as a Career Advisor and support talent development across the practice
  • Contribute to practice strategy, capability development, and service offering refinement
  • Drive development of PMO methodologies, delivery frameworks, tools, and best practices
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence across the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of consulting, program leadership, or transformation experience
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programs and PMOs
  • Demonstrated success managing executive-level client relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, operations, and technology organizations
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and operational processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment
  • Experience overseeing engagement financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and profitability
  • Track record of contributing to business development, account growth, and proposal development
  • Experience within consumer products, retail, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors preferred
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and quality assurance experience
  • Strong communication skills to be able to work with C-level clients
  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives
  • Ability to travel 30–50%

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
