THE TEAM

The Netflix Brand Creative Studio is an in-house team of Strategists, Creatives and Producers who create culturally relevant and commercially rewarding ways for Netflix to delight our fans, strengthen our brand, and deliver for the business. We help develop and execute a variety of creative programs spanning a range of audiences, goals, formats, styles, and scale. We put creativity at the center of our brand partnerships so our collaborations with advertisers continue to deliver on our mission to entertain the world. We partner with teams across the company to ensure our brand both adds value to and benefits from all our collective efforts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a senior creative with strong experience working on highly creative campaigns for brands from various budgets & categories. The role will focus on developing and leading end-to-end creative for many of our partnerships across Brand Partnerships, and developing our creative offering as the team grows.

The successful candidate will have deep experience concepting, scripting, socializing, and selling a creative. You will be confident in both; doing the work yourself, as well as guiding others to do the same - from concept through to execution.

You will own creative campaigns for Netflix’s major partnerships with global/regional brands as well as top creative/media/partnership agencies. You’ll work with the cross-functional Partnerships team (Partnership Managers, Title Managers, Creative Strategists, and Creative Production) to pitch, develop and execute creative for partner programs that will help us deepen consumer engagement and awareness of our original content around launch. You will also manage one direct report, who is currently spearheading the creative output of UK partnerships.

We believe this role is ideal for someone with a personal passion for entertainment and a professional desire to create some of the world’s most creative partnerships, as you will be responsible for the core idea and execution of many of our biggest shows and movies when building these partnerships. This is an exciting role to help shape and develop the creative direction of the team and build world class output in the partnership space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute best-in-class creative campaigns in service of Netflix and our advertising partners.

  • Extract insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the creative vision from beginning through to execution.

  • Build foundational concepts that reflect the strategic intersection between the partner brand and Netflix titles.

  • Provide guidance and feedback to partner creative agencies and brands, helping them flourish through the creative process.

  • Introduce new partners and their agencies to the Netflix brand, creative guidelines and workflow.

  • Manage all creative relationships by attending partner meetings and productions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including: Brand Partnerships, Consumer Products, Sales, Creative Marketing, Social, Content, Events, and Public Relations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15 or more years of proven experience in a creative role within the entertainment, advertising, or related creative marketing industry.

  • A strong portfolio of award-winning work spanning a range of different industries that demonstrates experience in developing innovative creative solutions with notable brands.

  • Confident presentation skills and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience and palpable passion for building great content marketing programs that are unique and scalable.
