Senior Manager / Director - Operations

Our Brisbane office is looking for an Operations Director who will be responsible for providing senior leadership for the Brisbane office and overseeing all operational activities of the sustaining capital and maintenance services P&L of the Australian region, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of projects and services to clients within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Resources and Industrial sectors.
The role provides strategic leadership, operational governance and commercial oversight to ensure business objectives are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and client satisfaction. The Operations Director will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, develop talent, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the business.
In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:
- Identify opportunities to expand services, increase market share and improve operational performance.
- Contribute to and implement regional operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide leadership and oversight for all regional operations and project delivery activities of the sustaining capital and maintenance services P&L’s.
- Accountable for East coast Australia Sustaining Capital and Maintenance services Profit and Loss (P&L) performance.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the specific areas of responsibility.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards.
- Ensure operational compliance with Australian regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Drive employee engagement, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
