Job Responsibilities :

The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and compliance. In addition, this role serves as a strategic finance business partner, working closely with operational and commercial teams to drive performance, profitability, and informed decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data

2. Finance Business Partnering

  • Partner with business units to drive financial performance
  • Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial perspectives
  • Translate financial results into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Support strategic initiatives (e.g., expansion, product launches, cost programs)
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards aligned with business goals
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on financial implications of business decision

3. Internal Controls, Risk & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain internal control framework
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity
  • Optimize working capital (AR, AP, inventory)
  • Maintain banking and financing relationships

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with business strategy
  • Present financial insights to senior leadership and board
  • Drive a culture of accountability and performance
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Pre-Requisites :

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA preferred)

    Experience

    • More than 10 years of finance experience, including leadership roles
    • Proven track record in financial reporting and business partnering
    • Experience working closely with non-finance stakeholders
