Senior Manager, Finance Technology Program Management

This role has hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 days remote.

General Description:

The Senior Manager, Finance Technology Program Management is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex global Finance Technology programs that support strategic business priorities and operational excellence.

This role manages a team of project managers and partners closely with Finance, Technology, and cross-functional business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned solutions.

The position requires strong experience in finance technology transformations, ERP-enabled initiatives, and the governance needed to execute global programs across multiple regions, teams, and workstreams.

The Senior Manager is expected to proactively identify delivery risks, resolve cross-functional dependencies, drive stakeholder alignment, and ensure programs are executed with transparency, control, and measurable business outcomes.

Essential Functions of the Job:

As a Program Manager, you will work hands-on across operational support and enhancement delivery while collaborating closely with business partners and other solution teams. You will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global Finance Technology programs, including planning, governance, execution, risk management, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Manage and develop project/program managers, setting clear priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain program governance structures, including integrated plans, RAID logs, steering committee materials, status reporting, and decision tracking.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business leaders to define scope, success measures, milestones, and resource needs for strategic initiatives.
  • Drive ERP and adjacent finance technology programs, including deployments, process harmonization, integration efforts, and business readiness activities.
  • Identify common delivery challenges such as scope creep, resource constraints, data quality issues, change resistance, integration dependencies, and localization complexity; implement practical mitigation plans.
  • Oversee cross-functional coordination across business process owners, solution teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely and controlled execution.
  • Ensure programs align with audit, compliance, financial controls, and change management expectations in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio prioritization and capacity planning by evaluating business value, dependencies, risks, and sequencing across multiple initiatives.
  • Promote standardized program management practices, templates, and reporting disciplines across the Finance Technology organization.
  • Monitor program outcomes and operational adoption metrics to ensure expected benefits are realized and sustained.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methods, stakeholder engagement models, and lessons-learned processes.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management, technology delivery, ERP transformation, or finance systems implementation
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project/program certification.
  • Experience leading global or multi-region programs with cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and operating models, including close, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, master data, controls, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP-enabled transformations (e.g., SAP or similar enterprise platforms) and related integrations.
  • Experience building and managing integrated delivery plans, governance forums, issue management, and executive communications.
  • Strong grasp of program delivery disciplines across requirements, design, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and adoption.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience delivering Finance Technology programs in regulated, global, or highly matrixed environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ERP programs, especially SAP
  • Knowledge of common ERP and finance transformation challenges, including data migration, process standardization, localization, testing coordination, and stakeholder readiness.
  • Experience with PMO tooling, dashboarding, and executive reporting.
  • Exposure to finance-adjacent technologies such as consolidation, close, reconciliation, planning, reporting, or workflow platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Salary Range Poland: 276,000.00 PLN - 345,000.00 PLN
