Senior Manager, Ford Pro Business Strategy & Transformation
In this position…
As a Senior Manager in Strategy & Transformation, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies to drive a step-change in our growth trajectory. This is not a “sideline” strategy role; you will lead high-visibility workstreams from conceptual discussions into implementation, bridging the gap between bold ideas and operational excellence.
Ford Pro is a fast-paced environment; this role requires an individual who is versatile and curious, comfortable in ambiguity, embraces continuous learning, and is adept at navigating evolving business priorities to meet ambitious growth targets.
While primarily focused within Ford Pro, the individual in this role will have influence across the broader Ford enterprise. You will have significant opportunities to lead and develop strategies in close partnership with other Ford business units, including Ford Customer Service Division, Integrated Services, and Ford Credit, ensuring enterprise-wide alignment and impact.
What You’ll Do…
Strategic Growth: Lead market research and competitive benchmarking to assess "white space" opportunities, including organic growth and M&A
Transformation Leadership: Translate high-level strategy into actionable roadmaps, ensuring the business has the right operating model to execute
Partnership Architecture: Serve as the strategic lead for critical external partnerships, defining the commercial logic and long-term roadmap that will enhance Ford Pro’s ecosystem of products and services
Market Sensing: Proactively monitor and respond to industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to ensure our strategies remain competitive
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights; build the financial and operational models that underpin capital decisions
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Collaborate across other business units (such as Ford Customer Service Division, Integrated Services, Ford Credit) to develop strategy and define roadmaps
Executive Influence: Translate insights and business cases into concise, compelling narratives for senior management and stakeholders in order to influence key decisions
You’ll have…
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, finance, management consulting, or similar field (or Master’s degree and 7+ years of experience)
Subject matter expertise in the automotive sector, fleet/commercial vehicles, B2B or SaaS organizations, or other industries relevant to Ford Pro
Experience designing and implementing operating models and business processes that bridge the gap between strategy and operations
Track record of leading high-impact projects, thinking and acting independently to juggle priorities and drive problem-solving
Proven ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization to build consensus and move projects forward without direct authority
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including facilitating teamwork, governing project teams and mentoring colleagues and team members
Polished verbal communication / presentation skills and structured writing skills
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (written presentations for a senior executive audience), Excel (modeling of large data sets), Word (white papers)
Even better, you may have...
MBA preferred
Experience scaling a new business unit, product line, or venture
Prior experience leading large-scale programs/projects at a global scale
Prior experience leading partnership and business development efforts including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and deal execution
Experience leading project management and/or transformation offices
