Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, IT Infrastructure, the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Security & Transformation is responsible for leading the execution of the organization’s infrastructure modernization roadmap while ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role bridges strategy and execution by ensuring infrastructure initiatives are delivered on time, designed to approved standards, and compliant with applicable security controls. The Senior Manager combines program delivery leadership, technical oversight, risk management, and governance enforcement across a distributed, multi-site environment.

Job Responsibilities
Infrastructure Transformation Delivery
- Lead the execution of infrastructure transformation initiatives, including network modernization, site remediation, data centre improvements, and cloud enablement.
- Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, resources, and timelines across multiple concurrent programs.
- Ensure delivery outcomes meet established performance, reliability, security, and operational-readiness requirements.
- Establish appropriate governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms to support successful program delivery.
Security and Compliance Enforcement
- Ensure infrastructure solutions adhere to security policies, standards, controls, and mandates established by the IT Security function.
- Act as a governance checkpoint for security compliance throughout infrastructure design, implementation, and deployment.
- Identify and address gaps in control implementation across network, cloud, data centre, and platform environments.
- Promote consistent application of security controls across distributed teams, sites, and regions.
Architecture and Standards Alignment
- Validate that infrastructure implementations align with approved enterprise architecture, engineering, and design standards.
- Partner with architecture, security, infrastructure, and standards teams to promote consistency across environments.
- Support the continued development of infrastructure standards by providing practical feedback based on implementation experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure scalability, resilience, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Risk, Audit and Remediation Management
- Lead the remediation of infrastructure-related vulnerabilities, audit findings, control deficiencies, and compliance gaps.
- Establish and track remediation plans with clear ownership, priorities, milestones, and completion timelines.
- Provide leadership with regular visibility into infrastructure risk posture, remediation progress, and compliance trends.
- Ensure outstanding risks and issues are appropriately documented, escalated, and addressed.
Vendor and Partner Coordination
- Align vendors, managed service providers, and external partners with infrastructure delivery standards and security requirements.
- Ensure third-party deliverables meet established quality, security, technical, and operational expectations.
- Evaluate and select third-party technologies and tools that support infrastructure transformation, security compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor vendor performance and drive accountability for agreed-upon deliverables, timelines, and service levels.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, architecture, and operations teams to coordinate successful delivery.
- Act as the primary interface between the infrastructure organization and IT Security leadership.
- Drive accountability, consistency, and effective decision-making across distributed teams and regions.
- Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and strategic priorities to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams supporting infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Eight to twelve years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Three to five years of leadership experience managing technical teams, complex infrastructure programs, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure modernization initiatives involving networks, cloud platforms, data centres, and multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security policies, controls, compliance requirements, and risk-management practices.
- Experience supporting global or geographically distributed infrastructure operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, dependencies, risks, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, operational resilience, security-by-design principles, and technology governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
