Senior Manager – Merchandise Sales

\n ● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the merchandise business which includes apparel, bags, backpacks, accessories and other products made from recycled

\n polyester (rPoly) and sustainable materials.

\n ● Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth across domestic and international markets.
\n <\/div>\n
\n ● Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities through a combination of cold outreach, networking, referrals, email campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting, industry events and in\-person meetings.
\n <\/div>\n
\n ● Build, manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline ensuring strong visibility into future revenue opportunities and accurate sales forecasting.
\n <\/div>\n
\n ● Prospect and engage with key customer segments including corporates, brands, retailers,event management companies, gifting agencies, NGOs, educational institutions, government organizations and e\-commerce platforms.

\n ● Conduct compelling product presentations and sales pitches effectively communicating the sustainability, traceability and social impact value proposition of Plastics For Change merchandise

\n ● Prepare customized proposals, quotations, presentations and commercial offers in line with customer requirements

\n ● Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close deals while ensuring profitability targets are met.

\n Key Account Management<\/b>

\n ● Build and nurture strong long term client relationships to drive repeat business, upselling and cross\-selling opportunities and customer retention. Act as the primary point of contact for all accounts ensuring exceptional customer service, high levels of customer satisfaction and sustained account growth

\n ● Collaborate closely with design, sourcing, operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects and timely delivery.

\n ● Address customer concerns, resolve escalations promptly, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and account developments within the Hubspot CRM

\n ● Travel extensively across India to meet clients and develop business opportunities.

\n ● Represent Plastics For Change at customer sites, industry events, and business meetings.

\n 4. Willingness to travel frequently across PFC site locations, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or the company.

Requirements<\/h3>\n
\n Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications<\/b>
\n <\/div>\n

  • Graduate with 4+ years\u2019 of experience in corporate and institutional Sales preferably from textile background
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience into sustainable products sales plus fashion accessories distribution houses
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience of generating b2b sales from corporates, Institutions, e\-com and other b2b establishments
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Proven track record of building their own pipeline of opportunities for business development and selling into medium to large accounts
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Should be able to manage expectation of the customer and supply chain stakeholders
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Go getter attitude, proactive in reaching out to the customers and pitch the relevant products
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Good networking and negotiating skills
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers
