As the Sr. Manager, Merchandising Men – EMEA, you are responsible for shaping and delivering the regional merchandising strategy and go-to-market execution across Retail, Ecommerce, and Wholesale channels in EMEA.
You act as a key regional merchandising leader, partnering closely with both local EMEA commercial teams and Global teams in Vancouver to ensure regional consumer needs, market insights, and commercial priorities are effectively translated into seasonal assortments and execution plans.
You partner with our Merchandise Planning and Allocations (MP&A), Visual Merchandising and Commercial teams to align your category product strategies with the overall global merchandising direction, and you support our company goals by focusing on local consumer needs and brand opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market.
This role can be based in one our main Epicenters: Garching (Munich), Paris or London. With a preference for Munich. Candidates must be eligible to work in the country.
Meet Your Future Team
The Merchant team is responsible for delivering regional, seasonal product assortments that resonate with our local and international EMEA guests and support the overall Design creative direction and the global merchandising strategy. In partnership with the Global Product Line Management (PLM) team, Merchants drive category-level sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals across both wholesale and vertical channels.
This high-performing team works closely with the Commercial, Global Product Line Management team (GPLM), Regional Marketing, Regional VM, Regional merchandise Planning and Allocations (MP&A) teams to create future seasonal line plans and to maximize in-season sales performance.
If you were the Sr. Manager, Merchandising Men – EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Researching and analyzing the regional marketplace, identifying key consumer and market insights to inform concept development, product creation, and assortment decisions.
Conducting regular market visits,at least quarterly, to gather consumer, competitive, and retail insights.
Building 1–2-year merchandising strategies for your Men’s categories, aligned to the EMEA regional vision
Translating strategy into seasonal assortments that balance consumer needs, brand intent, and commercial goals.
Providing clear category frameworks that guide execution across retail, wholesale, and digital.
Owning category performance — sales, margin, and inventory productivity — in partnership with MP&A and Commercial teams.
Creating strategic seasonal selling plans (grow, hold, diminish, exit, launch) and managing sell‑in vs. sell‑through dynamics.
Reviewing category performance with Regional Commercial leadership and driving actionable recommendations.
Collaborating closely with Senior Merchants, MP&A, and Visual Merchandising to ensure aligned, cross‑functional execution, with a focus on execution excellence and capability building.
Influencing global GPLM by bringing clear EMEA insights, needs, and constraints into global line planning.
Partnering with Design, Development, EMEA Brand Marketing, and Colour to bring seasonal strategies to life across all channels.
Partnering with the Planning team to create strategic seasonal selling plans, including plans to grow, diminish, hold, exit, and launch product categories, as well as managing sell-through vs. sell-in dynamics
Supporting and mentoring Merchants through partnership and capability building — not formal management.
Delivering clear, compelling product and assortment presentations for key seasonal milestones.
Upholding Fair Labor Association standards and responsible sourcing principles throughout the supply chain.
