Job Description & Summary

About the role

PwC’s Consulting Practice is on an upward trajectory as we continue to help clients transform and strengthen their end-to-end supply chains and operating models. We work with organisations across industries to design and implement impactful, scalable solutions that improve performance, resilience, and customer outcomes, creating sustainable value for businesses and society.

Our Supply Chain & Transformation practice is a core part of our Consulting offering, operating at the intersection of business strategy, operating model design, and digital technology. We are looking for candidates with strong consulting and industry experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex supply chain transformation programmes across Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, and Medical Devices sectors. Candidates will bring the capability to drive tangible outcomes, support client transformation agendas, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

A career within Enterprise Operations Consulting provides the opportunity to help clients optimise and transform their operations, moving beyond cost efficiency to become a true source of competitive advantage. We support organisations in delivering end-to-end supply chain transformation programmes, spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and order management, to improve resilience, enable growth, and drive sustainable profitability.

As part of our Supply Chain & Procurement team, you will work alongside a diverse group of problem solvers with deep consulting and industry experience, supporting clients in addressing complex operational challenges from strategy through to execution and value realisation.

This role will be based in London.

What your days will look like:

  • Lead large-scale, end-to-end supply chain transformation programmes across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and order management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping supply chain strategies, transformation roadmaps, and value cases
  • Drive business development activity including account development, opportunity origination, proposal leadership, and deal conversion
  • Provide delivery oversight across multiple workstreams and geographies, including management of onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams
  • Shape and develop new supply chain and transformation propositions aligned to emerging market trends and technologies
  • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams, supporting talent development, coaching, and succession planning
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice through recruitment, thought leadership, and strengthening internal and external networks

This role is for you if:

  • Extensive experience leading complex, digitally enabled supply chain transformation programmes in consulting or industry environments
  • Deep expertise across end-to-end supply chain processes, with strong strategic, commercial, and operational acumen
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes, including cost reduction, service improvement, and resilience
  • Demonstrable experience within the Pharmaceutical industry

  • Demonstrated ability to shape client agendas, originate work, and build sustainable senior client relationships
  • Inspirational leadership style with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across geographies
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their application within the supply chain and operations landscape
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
