Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multiple projects or a portfolio of subsea cable projects.
  • Management of project budgets and schedules for Marine activities, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Coordinate project activities between permitting, marine route engineering, installation planning, Shore End engineering and installation, Fleet Ops, Jointing and Testing, and SCS (factory).
    • Ensured alignment with approved plans of record
  • Ownership of notes and follow-on actions resulting from internal/external calls with various stakeholders (Route Working Groups, Team Meetings, ad hoc SME discussions, etc.)
  • Ensure delivery of contractual project documentation, including event reports from Fleet Operations.
  • Responsible for addressing customer questions (on any aspect of the marine operation) in a timely manner.
  • Monthly, weekly, and daily project reporting (Internal and external) with an emphasis on risks to be addressed.
  • Risk identification/mitigation, solution development, costing and analysis to support project strategy and management of change process.
    • Subsequent tracking of risk severity and mitigation effectiveness
  • Supports meetings both remotely and in-person.
    • Accommodates non-standard working hours (as these are international projects with stakeholders across various time zones).
    • Travel is required (both domestic and international) to support the project, the team and the customer.
  • Management of subcontractors from a budget, schedule, and technical POV throughout project lifecycle
  • Possible management of personnel
  • Coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in developing and finalizing marine solutions for implementation and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Developing contract variation documentation, amending T&C’s language and Marine descriptives
  • Coordinating the marine solution/message with Sales or PM
  • Generation and maintenance of the following documentation:
    • Customer facing Marine program milestones
    • Wet Plant Spare Plan
    • Internal technical and contract shreds
    • Miscellaneous or general project reporting and presentations
    • Scope, Schedule, Cost inputs to Contract Variations for Marine related items
    • Lessons Learned
  • Other duties as required.
