As the Senior Marketing Manager you are responsible for envisioning and executing key parts of the Global marketing strategy for LEGO® Friends, with a special focus on communication.
Please note: This is a position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As Sr. Marketing Manager - Communication Lead in the LEGO Friends team - and in collaboration with the Marketing Director and the Marketing Manager, you will lead the Go-to-Market and communication strategy, from planning to execution. This will include:
End-to-end global go-to-market and communication campaigns towards consumers and shoppers; from briefing to playbook and toolbox development as well as execution in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Drive the communication innovation agenda, identifying new impactful and efficient ways to reach our consumers and shoppers.
Lead the LEGO Friends experience across Owned, Earned and Shared channels, securing a consistent and playful experience across the ecosystem, immersing the LEGO Friends audience into the brand.
Ensure great collaboration and synergies with our main global communication partners, Our LEGO Agency and the LEGO branded channels.
Work closely with Regions and Markets to help transition the global campaign to a local execution, guiding and helping our partners.
Build, own and drive the Friends communication research agenda to test the efficiency of our marketing campaigns and build insights for future efforts.
Lead the LEGO Friends gaming strategy, including partnering with the LEGO Game team, external vendors and the external media agency.
Do you have what it takes?
Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer products marketing (ideally with kids / family products)
Experience in developing and leading product consumer and shopper communication and marketing campaigns, including creative agency and media agency management.
Strong business understanding; how communication efforts impact business plans.
A positive, can-do attitude, team spirit and a belief that we build bigger thinking through collaboration.
An intuitive talent for understanding and extracting key consumer and shopper insights and how to apply these to communication strategies and campaigns.
Best in class presentation and writing skills with the ability to tell a persuasive story that makes the campaign come to life and creates a crowd of fellow enthusiasts.
An effective leader and relationship builder across functions, levels and business units – you build positive relationships and influence relations to deliver on the LEGO Friends business ambition.
