Senior ML Infrastructure Engineer, Proactive

As a Senior Engineer on the Intelligence Platform Team, you’ll join a phenomenal team of hardworking engineers and will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities. Your work will include: Collaborating with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models; designing and refining systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI; understanding and adapting new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments; working with leadership across Apple to define policy. You will be responsible for bringing industry leading research to hundreds of millions of people using Apple products every day. Minimum Qualifications Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms Experience building on LLMs or other generative models Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications. Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization. Preferred Qualifications Experience building production feature engineering pipelines a plus Experience with distributed data systems a plus Experience with macOS/iOS development is a plus
