Senior NetSuite & Celigo Integration Developer
About ALSO.
We’re ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. We’re a passionate team of builders, dreamers, doers and innovators, focused on creating entirely new (not to mention, innovative and delightful) vertically integrated, small EVs designed to meet the global mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.
We are hiring a senior, in-house systems developer who can take NetSuite further than it goes out of the box — using Celigo, SuiteScript, and sound architectural judgment to extend, connect, and improve our core systems rather than be limited by native functionality. You are deeply expert in NetSuite and Celigo, a true Coupa administrator, and fluent in Shopify. More than an integration developer, you are a builder and a problem-solver: you understand how the whole ecosystem fits together, you propose alternatives when the obvious path is the wrong one, and you keep pace with an ambitious, fast-moving roadmap.
Today, much of this build work sits with external consultants. This role brings that capability in-house so we can move faster, lower cost and risk, and develop with full context on how our systems connect. You will report to our Sr Manager, Financial Systems and work hand-in-hand with our Systems Architect, who owns systems end to end — taking the heavier development, integration, and administration work off his plate and acting as his technical right hand.
The near-term focus is procure-to-pay and order-to-cash development plus Coupa administration. From there, you will help design and build the next phase of our systems roadmap: an inventory allocation engine, material resource planning, a B2B store for authorized service providers, international expansion, and additional 3PLs and warehouses
What You Will Do
NetSuite Development & Configuration
Develop and maintain customizations using SuiteScript (2.x), SuiteFlow workflows, custom records and fields, saved searches, and SuiteBuilder.
Configure functional areas across the ERP and support roles, forms, approval routing, and sandbox-to-production change management.
Build saved searches, reports, and dashboards for Finance and Operations.
Integrations (Celigo)
Design, build, test, and maintain Celigo integrator.io flows connecting NetSuite, Shopify, 3PL/WMS, PLM, and procurement.
Own data mappings, lookups, hooks/scripting, and transformations, with robust error handling, alerting, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot sync issues end to end and resolve root causes rather than symptoms.
Coupa Administration (Indirect Spend)
Serve as the true Coupa administrator for indirect spend: procurement workflows, approvals, supplier (SIM) forms, and configuration.
Maintain the Coupa → NetSuite integration and supplier/transaction data sync.
Procure-to-Pay & Order-to-Cash
Build and support purchasing, vendor bills, inventory receipts, and AP, including three-way match and approval workflows.
Maintain and improve the Shopify → Celigo → NetSuite sales order flow, including bundled/kitted products and partial fulfillment.
Support 3PL/WMS fulfillment, shipment confirmation, tracking sync, invoicing, returns/RMAs, and inventory availability messaging.
What You Will Bring
Deep NetSuite development expertise: SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, saved searches, custom records/fields, and SuiteTalk / REST integrations — with a strong sense of when to build in NetSuite versus extend it elsewhere.
Strong, hands-on Celigo integrator.io experience building and maintaining production integration flows.
True Coupa administrator experience, including procurement configuration and the Coupa → NetSuite integration.
A consultative mindset: you weigh options, surface trade-offs, recommend the most maintainable path, and keep up in a fast-moving environment.
Working knowledge of Shopify: Shopify Admin, order/product/inventory data, and the Shopify APIs.
Functional fluency in procure-to-pay and order-to-cash, and how they map to ERP data and accounting.
Strong root-cause troubleshooting across connected systems, excellent documentation habits, and the ability to work independently against a shared backlog.
Nice to Haves
Experience standing up MRP / demand & supply planning (NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar) and inventory allocation, including committing in-transit inventory.
Experience integrating a 3PL/WMS (e.g., SEKO) with NetSuite, and onboarding multiple 3PLs and warehouses.
Multi-store / multi-region Shopify, including B2B and international storefronts.
Tax automation experience (e.g., Avalara), including multi-entity / international setup and VAT.
Experience with a PLM system (e.g., Arena) and PLM → ERP item/BOM data flows.
Familiarity with BOMs, routing/WIP, costing, and outsourced/contract manufacturing.
E-commerce / DTC or hardware/manufacturing industry background; EDI exposure.
The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus pre-IPO stock options and a hybrid work model 3-5 days a week based out of our Palo Alto office.
