Senior Network Engineer

A typical work week might include:
- Transitioning to a new ISP provider in a remote office, troubleshooting routing/switching or WiFi issues, troubleshooting remote access issues, supporting new office builds and deployments, and working with the team to develop network standards and documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- You'll be working on The Network, Identity, and Security team have a broad range of responsibilities so there's plenty of options to pursue.
- Initially, the main focus will be: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- Working with ISPs on provisioning new services or troubleshooting issues
- Performing office DR tests Day to day operations of the enterprise network

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 5+ years working with converged Corporate and Campus networks, with an understanding of routing/switching, WLAN, WAN, security, and telephony.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and concepts such as OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSEC, VSS, 802.11(b/g/n)
- Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect)
- Experience supporting large campus network infrastructures.
- Network operations expertise, including automation, monitoring, and incident response. Broad operational knowledge of network and internet security.

- Solid understanding of Juniper infrastructure (SRX Firewalls and Junos Space) Documentation skills, such as troubleshooting run-books and as-built documents.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to work with a global, remote workforce Network certifications such as CCNA Things that would be great but we already have or you can grow into: Windows Active Directory experience
- Experience with automation and tooling Python/Ansible/Bash/Git AWS and VMware experience would also be well regarded.
- Familiarity of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS infrastructure/environments. Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in a network environment.
- Network certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP well regarded
