Senior Neuroradiology

Job Summary:

Specialist role in diagnostic neuroradiology focusing on advanced CT and MRI interpretation while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall clinical care of patients under assigned responsibility in collaboration with specialist doctors and allied healthcare professionals.
• Provide medical consultations, participate in on-call rosters, and manage outpatient clinic services.
• Interpret and report neuroradiology imaging, including computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
• Participate in clinicoradiology rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and case discussions.
• Contribute to the daily operations of diagnostic imaging services under the guidance of senior neuroradiology faculty.
• Perform shift duties and other clinically related responsibilities as required to support service delivery.

Requirements:

• Advantage: Subspecialty training in Diagnostic Radiology with a focus on non-interventional neuroradiology.
• Minimum of 8 years of specialist experience after specialist registration with a recognised authority.
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) or an equivalent recognised neuroradiology qualification.
• Medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Postgraduate specialist qualification recognised by the SMC.
• UK specialist training recognised if registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Specialists trained in other jurisdictions (e.g. the United States) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the SMC; additional requirements may apply if training is deemed insufficient.
• Malaysian specialist accreditation is not recognised unless specialist training was completed in the UK and recognised by the relevant authorities.
