Located in Blackburn, Lancashire, Priory Hospital Kemple View is a 90-bedded hospital, offering level 2 rehabilitation, and secure services, for adult males. We can support people with a mental health condition and/or a personality disorder.
The successful candidate will work with patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupation focused interventions, which provide patients with the confidence and skills to increase occupational functioning. You will be required to provide clinical leadership to the Occupational Therapy (OT) service, working in collaboration with Occupational Therapy Lead to ensure Occupational Therapy services are proactive and supportive of Priory objectives. You will lead therapeutic group work interventions and deliver a highly specialised and advanced standard of OT assessment, treatment and management for patients of complex needs.

Essential:
HCPC registration required

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy, or a Degree, Honours Degree, or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. You will be a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and demonstrate the ability to think critically and reflectively when making professional judgements, including in complex and unpredictable contexts, seeking guidance from peers and more experienced colleagues where appropriate. You will actively listen to others and seek their views to support shared ownership of decision-making. The role holder will also have prior experience working within an Occupational Therapy setting as a qualified member of staff.
