We’re looking for a Senior OT Project Engineer to lead the delivery of critical Operational Technology (OT) programs across gas and power assets. This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine technical expertise with project leadership to deliver secure, reliable and future-ready OT solutions.

About the Role

As a senior member of the OT Engineering team, you will drive end-to-end delivery of complex projects spanning SCADA, Historian, control systems, networks, and cyber security. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations across essential energy infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and deliver OT programs of work aligned to business outcomes
  • Oversee project planning, resourcing, scheduling and execution
  • Provide technical design, assurance and consultancy services
  • Ensure delivery of projects on time, on budget and to scope
  • Manage risk and change within critical operational environments
  • Mentor engineers and uplift team capability
  • Strengthen OT standards, governance and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams, vendors and regulators

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems or Power Engineering
  • RPEQ/RPEV (or equivalent) registration – essential
  • 7+ years’ experience in OT within power, gas, LNG, or utilities sectors
  • Proven success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Technical Expertise

You bring deep, hands-on experience across:

  • SCADA (Geo-SCADA or similar), Historians & Control Systems
  • OT networks, RTUs and industrial communications
  • Cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, AESCSF)
  • Protocols such as ICCP, DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus, OPC
  • Risk management & Management of Change in live environments

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • DCS/GMS/EMS/AGC, energy markets (NEM/WEM), microgrids
  • Maximo, ServiceNow, or project management certifications
