The Role

This is a genuine ownership opportunity for an experienced paid media professional who wants to make their mark. As Senior Paid Media Executive, you'll be the sole owner of B2B paid media activity at THG Ingenuity, with full accountability across LinkedIn, Google and Bing, from strategy and planning through to day-to-day activation, optimisation and reporting.

You will be the subject matter expert for paid media within the B2B Marketing team, owning campaign performance, budget allocation, audience targeting, bid strategy, optimisation, and pipeline generation across all paid channels.

You'll sit within a close-knit five-person B2B Marketing team, working directly with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and alongside brand owners and other marketing colleagues to turn business goals - for each of the three core solutions, THG Commerce, THG Fulfil and THG Studios - into paid campaigns that drive real sales pipeline.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in-platform, enjoys making optimisation decisions based on performance data, and wants complete ownership of campaign results rather than simply supporting wider marketing activity.

What You'll Do

Campaign Strategy & Planning

Leverage business priorities and available content to develop paid media plans that align with pipeline objectives
Conduct competitor and industry ad research to inform creative direction and campaign strategy
Guide on best-practice campaign setups, ICP targeting and the paid media assets required to execute effectively
Contribute ideas and strategic recommendations backed by data, using AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of planning
Own channel strategy across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, determining audience, budget, bidding and campaign structure decisions

Campaign Activation & Management

Build full campaign, audience and ad setups across LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
Produce or guide on assets for B2B paid campaigns. Including ad copy and creative,working with wider THG Ingenuity teams where relevant
Ensure all campaigns are set up to best-practice standards, with the right targeting, bidding strategy and tracking in place from day one
Independently manage campaign budgets, pacing, bid strategies, audience segmentation, conversion tracking and performance optimisation across all platforms
Own lead generation and demand generation activity targeting senior B2B decision-makers and enterprise audience
Conduct ongoing A/B testing across audiences, ad copy, creative and landing page experiences to improve conversion performance

Day-to-Day Account Ownership

Take full ownership of all paid media accounts, with a structured daily, weekly and monthly operating rhythm:
Daily: spend checks vs phasing; max CPC bid adjustments across paid search; search term negation
Weekly: spend sheet updates; performance reports; optimisation identification and implementation (self-sourced and via LinkedIn rep sessions)
Monthly: performance reports; account spend limit resets and adjustments; creative and ad copy refreshes with proactive identification of ad fatigue

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Analyse performance data across all platforms and surface actionable opportunities to improve results
Produce clear, insight-led weekly and monthly reports for internal stakeholders
Use BI and analytics platforms to track and report on performance where relevant

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Build strong working relationships with brand owners and the wider performance marketing function to deeply understand business goals
Cultivate commercially valuable relationships with key channel partners - including Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn - staying close to their latest propositions, insights and product developments to ensure maximum value from THG Ingenuity’s media investment.
Act as the paid media authority within the B2B Marketing team, staying current with platform developments, algorithm changes and best practices
Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure paid activity is aligned with broader marketing strategy

What We're Looking For

Essential

3+ years' experience in paid media, with demonstrable end-to-end ownership of campaigns, from planning and activation through to optimisation and reporting
Proven, hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing)
Proven, hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Strong analytical capability, able to interrogate campaign data and translate findings into clear optimisation actions
Active experience using at least one CRM and/or marketing automation platform (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho)
High attention to detail, particularly around budget management, bid strategy and pacing
A confident communicator who can build effective working relationships and present performance insights clearly to non-specialists

Desirable

Experience working in a B2B marketing environment or running campaigns targeting business decision-makers
Experience using AI tools for campaign planning, copy generation or performance analysis
A degree in marketing, digital marketing, business or a related discipline, though equivalent demonstrated experience is equally valued
