Senior Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our legal team and support a broad range of legal operations, commercial, employment, compliance, investigations, corporate, and operational legal matters across the company’s global business.
The Senior Paralegal will serve as a key member of the legal department and provide practical, hands-on support across a wide range of in-house legal functions. This is an in-house generalist role with a significant focus on legal operations, commercial contracts, employment-related matters, compliance work, internal investigations, and day-to-day legal support.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant paralegal or legal operations experience, strong experience with contract review and drafting support, and the ability to manage legal workflows in a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable supporting a broad range of legal matters, including issues outside their primary areas of experience.
The Senior Paralegal will report to the General Counsel. This is a hybrid role working from Austin, TX.
Insight on your impact:
- Support the review, drafting, organization, and management of a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer agreements, supplier agreements, distribution agreements, services agreements, NDAs, terms and conditions, amendments, statements of work, and related business contracts.
- Assist attorneys and business stakeholders with contract intake, preliminary review, redline management, version control, approvals, signature coordination, contract tracking, and contract lifecycle management.
- Identify and escalate unusual contract terms, legal issues, approval requirements, commercial risks, and deviations from company templates or playbooks.
- Maintain and improve contract templates, clause libraries, legal playbooks, approval workflows, filing systems, and contract management processes.
- Support legal operations initiatives, including matter intake, project tracking, outside counsel coordination, budget tracking, invoice review, legal technology tools, reporting, knowledge management, and process improvement.
- Assist with employment-related matters in partnership with attorneys and Human Resources, including employee relations documentation, policy updates, separations, restrictive covenants, accommodations, investigations, wage and hour support, and employment compliance processes.
- Support internal investigations, including intake tracking, document collection and organization, chronology preparation, interview scheduling, evidence management, investigation files, findings documentation, remediation tracking, and related reporting.
- Assist with compliance initiatives, including anti-corruption, trade compliance, sanctions, export controls, data privacy, conflicts of interest, ethics, policy management, training materials, questionnaires, certifications, audits, and internal controls.
- Support legal issues related to global electronics distribution, including supply chain, procurement, sales, logistics, warranties, product issues, international operations, and customer or supplier disputes.
- Assist with corporate governance and entity management matters, including corporate records, resolutions, consents, officer and director records, registrations, annual filings, organizational charts, and coordination with registered agents and outside counsel.
- Support disputes, claims, subpoenas, demand letters, litigation holds, document preservation, document collection, and coordination with outside counsel.
- Track key legal deadlines, renewals, obligations, filings, investigation milestones, compliance tasks, and contract-related dates.
- Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, training materials, process documents, and legal department communications for internal use.
- Work cross-functionally with business teams in the United States and internationally.
- Handle additional legal matters and special projects as necessary to support the company’s evolving business needs.
Your qualifications, your influence:
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant paralegal, legal operations, or in-house legal support experience.
- Strong experience supporting commercial contracts, contract review, contract drafting, and contract lifecycle management.Experience supporting legal operations, matter management, legal department workflows, reporting, and process improvement.
- Experience supporting employment, compliance, investigations, corporate governance, or general corporate legal matters.
- Prior in-house legal department experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting a company with international operations is a plus.
- Experience with distribution, supply chain, technology, electronics, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with trade compliance, export controls, sanctions, anti-corruption, data privacy, employment compliance, and related legal or compliance matters is helpful.
- Experience with legal technology tools, e-signature platforms, document management systems, contract lifecycle management systems, and Microsoft Office required.
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
