Senior Payroll Accountant

We are expanding our Global Shared Service Payroll Accounting team with a Senior Payroll Accountant supporting LatAm entities and accurate US GAAP payroll reporting. You will reconcile payroll data across systems, address complex cases, and partner with teams and auditors while improving processes and delivering ad-hoc reporting—apply now. Responsibilities Oversee payroll accounting for selected EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm, including US GAAP bookkeeping for payroll activities such as standard entries and accruals Review and reconcile payroll data across internal systems to confirm accuracy and consistency Investigate complex payroll cases and provide well-justified resolutions Collaborate across functions with other departments Handle audit requests and participate in recurring meetings with internal and external auditors Support local audits with an emphasis on payroll-related topics Drive process improvement initiatives with other teams by spotting enhancement opportunities and validating newly implemented changes Prepare ad-hoc reports upon request Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional background Advanced MS Office skills, including strong proficiency in Excel Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with SAP considered a plus Exposure to company acquisitions considered beneficial High personal accountability, strong attention to detail, and ability to process information from multiple sources Solid spoken and written English communication skills (B1+ level or higher) Nice to have Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities Willingness to provide extra effort, including overtime when needed High resilience to stress and ability to perform under pressure Loyal, results-driven attitude with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
