We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Leader in EMEA to oversee high performing payroll teams and drive operational excellence across several regional locations.
Beyond day‑to‑day operations, you will play a key role in strategic initiatives, including process improvements, automation projects, and collaboration with HR and business partners. You will help shape the future of payroll delivery in a dynamic, international environment.
What You Will Do
Leadership & Operations
- Lead and support payroll team members across multiple regions.
- Coordinate payroll teams productivity and quality against established SLAs and performance metrics.
- Ensure effective use of payroll tools, systems, and standardized processes.
- Oversee payroll delivery for assigned countries/locations, including outsourced payroll operations.
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and internal partners.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and analyze team performance reports, identifying trends and root causes.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support automation and digitalization projects in collaboration with other teams.
- Maintain a strong control environment aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key indicators and ensure consistent service delivery aligned with payroll standards.
Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Foster strong partnerships with regional HR and business stakeholders.
- Maintain a customer‑focused mindset within payroll operations.
- Participate in payroll integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions.

What We Look For
Required
- Minimum 3 years of senior‑level experience in payroll operations, ideally in an SSC or international environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and manage complex operational processes.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower teams and influence stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in payroll processing, compliance, and knowledge management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience working in a global organization with evolving processes and structures.
- Experience with various T&A systems and HCM systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Salary:
Gross monthly salary starts from 2500 EUR, plus a bonus after six months. Final offer depends on experience and qualifications.
