About the Opportunity
ACCIONA Construction Australia is undergoing significant growth and is seeking a Senior Planner to join our team based in our Adelaide head office. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programs across tender, delivery and completion phases, ensuring successful planning outcomes across complex infrastructure projects.

Key accountabilities

  • Management and production of programs developed from first principles using project scope, design documentation and delivery strategies
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder inputs to develop accurate and achievable project programs
  • Assign plant, labour and material resources, producing histograms and S-curves to support project controls
  • Convert tender/bid programs into contract master programs
  • Develop program management plans and supporting documentation
  • Manage time-related risks and opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and record project progress
  • Provide progress updates and reporting in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying and assessing program changes and analysing cause and effect impacts

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Demonstrated planning experience within a construction or engineering environment
    • Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, project scheduling and program logic networking
    • Strong understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning methodologies
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

    Additional requirement
    Due to the Defence contracts we currently work on, Australian Citizenship is required for this role in order to obtain Baseline Clearance.
