Senior Planning Officer, Performing Arts

This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.


You will be responsible for

  • building and managing a database of storage and archival records in a systematic order;
  • providing administrative support to the Division including PAC and related group meetings, arranging travel , monthly forecasting;
  • acting as a primary liaison in communication regarding artistic procurement exercise, and assisting in procurement tasks, including data input and registration into the ERP system, as well as reporting and registering works;
  • supporting the annual business planning and corporate planning exercise which involve consolidating data from various business units, internal coordination within Performing Arts Division and providing comparative analysis into past performances;
  • providing support in other administration, research and planning functions; and
  • performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.

You should:

  • hold a recognised university degree in Cultural Management, Arts or Cultural Studies, Languages, Business Administration or related field;
  • have at least 3 to 4 years of working experience, with at least 1 year of experience preferably in statutory body, non-profit making organization, or arts and cultural sector;
  • possess understanding of the operational workflows, and be able to work with different people internally and externally;
  • demonstrate familiarity or experience with budgeting;
  • be proficient with numbers and skilled in Microsoft Excel;
  • have good problem-solving and interpersonal skills; be organised and meticulous with ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • be proactive and capable to work independently to deliver quality and timely support; and
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
