Senior Pricipal Presales Solution Architect
What success looks like in this role:
• Manages the efforts of Presales Solution Architecture teams and associates.
• Drives top-line revenue by promoting and selling into the current client base.
• Works in partnership with Sales & Sales Excellence, Marketing & Communications, Client Services / Support and other stakeholders to identify client technology upgrades and design creative solutions promoting Unisys latest products, services and capabilities.
• Oversees the preparation of proposals, technical documentation and detailed architecture plans.
• Provides account consultation, including coordination of internal and technical resources, to deliver on client needs and expectations.
• Finds and closes new revenue opportunities within the existing client base.
Serves as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights into the company’s technical capabilities.
• Drives creative and custom technology solutions for clients based on client business and technology needs.
• Builds long-term stakeholder relationships, liaising between clients and internal technical teams.
• Resolves or escalates technical and process issues from subordinate managers or staff.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Track record winning large, complex managed services / ITO deals ($50M+ TCV)
- Strong enterprise architecture and multi-tower solutioning expertise
- Highly commercial — translates technology into business value
- Experienced in presales, pursuit leadership, and deal shaping
- Strong understanding of outsourcing, digital workplace, and cloud ecosystems
- Confident and credible with C-level stakeholders
