Senior Principal Architect
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead an architectural design or project team, providing technical leadership on design matters
- Guide team members to develop optimised design solutions that meet client requirements
- Participate in business development efforts, including meetings to target markets, clients, and project opportunities
- Prepare and develop architectural designs
- Conduct feasibility studies and deliver design proposal presentations
- Liaise with clients on project-related matters and requirements
- Negotiate with contractors on design intent and construction progress
- Administer construction contracts to ensure compliance with design intent and relevant building codes
- Oversee on-site progress, ensuring works are carried out according to plans and resolving issues as they arise
- Manage multiple projects concurrently (typically 3–4 projects)
- Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure compliance with required standards
- Potentially assume roles such as Lead Architect, Project Director (PD), or Project Lead (PL), including involvement in project P&L and resource planning
Job Requirements:
- Good Degree in Architecture from a University accredited with BOA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design management or design and planning of airport projects
- Registered Architect with a valid practising licence
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (clients, contractors, consultants)
- Ability to handle both design and project management responsibilities
- Experience in contract administration and site coordination
