Senior Principal Architect

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead an architectural design or project team, providing technical leadership on design matters
• Guide team members to develop optimised design solutions that meet client requirements
• Participate in business development efforts, including meetings to target markets, clients, and project opportunities
• Prepare and develop architectural designs
• Conduct feasibility studies and deliver design proposal presentations
• Liaise with clients on project-related matters and requirements
• Negotiate with contractors on design intent and construction progress
• Administer construction contracts to ensure compliance with design intent and relevant building codes
• Oversee on-site progress, ensuring works are carried out according to plans and resolving issues as they arise
• Manage multiple projects concurrently (typically 3–4 projects)
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure compliance with required standards
• Potentially assume roles such as Lead Architect, Project Director (PD), or Project Lead (PL), including involvement in project P&L and resource planning

Job Requirements:

• Good Degree in Architecture from a University accredited with BOA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design management or design and planning of airport projects
• Registered Architect with a valid practising licence
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (clients, contractors, consultants)
• Ability to handle both design and project management responsibilities
• Experience in contract administration and site coordination
